GROWING TIPS: Sour Apple strain grows energetically, which necessitates frequent trimming to keep the plant in its place. As for flavor, we’ve already hinted that Sour Apple has a tart apple flavor, but there’s more to it than that. The strain is a sweet mix of caramel apples and fuel-like flavors, as you would find in a skunkier strain but not as pronounced. The aroma has the tart bite of an apple peel and a mix of sour citrus. The resulting skunk is an almost rotting flavor, like the apple has gotten very old and over-sweet.
